About Us

Our Story

Animal Rescue Facility of Meigs County (ARFMC) is a compassionate organization dedicated to rescuing and providing care for abused, stray, and neglected dogs in our area. Our founders Lori McMillan and Cheryl Baty Shane work tirelessly to find them loving forever homes where they can thrive and be part of a loving family. We are committed to sharing information about our rescue efforts and raising awareness about animal welfare issues.

At our facility, we provide shelter, medical care, and rehabilitation to animals in need. Our team of passionate animal lovers works tirelessly to ensure that each animal receives the love and care they deserve. Join us in making a difference in the lives of these innocent creatures.

Adoption Programs

Finding Forever Homes

Through our adoption programs, we match rescued animals with loving families, creating lasting bonds and giving these animals a fresh start. We believe that every animal deserves a safe and loving home, and we work tirelessly to make this a reality for each one.

Community Outreach

Educating and Engaging

Our community outreach initiatives aim to educate the public about responsible pet ownership, animal welfare, and the importance of spaying and neutering. By engaging with the community, we strive to create a more compassionate society that values and protects the well-being of all animals.
